Information About Coach America's Chapter 11 Restructuring

On January 3, 2012, Coach America filed voluntary petitions for Chapter 11 reorganization in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. We took this action in order to reduce the Company’s debt and advance the best interests of the Company and its stakeholders.

Click here to read our press release announcing this development, as well as here for our more recent announcement concerning the Court's approval of our First Day Motions which are critical to ensuring financial and operational stability going forward.

Coach America and our subsidiaries will maintain normal operations, bus schedules, and honor all contracted trips. In fact, all of our operations will be conducting business as usual. As we continue on with the Chapter 11 process, we will continue to uphold our mission to:

  • Provide uninterrupted charter service safely and reliably;
  • Honor all tickets and reservations, and make exchanges and refunds as usual;
  • Provide employee wages, healthcare coverage, vacation, and other benefits, without interruption; and
  • Pay suppliers for goods and services received during the reorganization process.

At Coach America, our mission is your safety and satisfaction. We value our vendors, the drivers, our staff and all of the things that, combined, equal a great customer experience.
